VINTAGE ROMANCE IN LAS VEGAS: A DREAMY VOW RENEWAL

This one takes me back to the very beginning of my career, long before Arabella's Weddings & Events became what it is today.

On March 6, 2023, Isa and Dylan celebrated their love with a beautiful vintage-inspired vow renewal at one of my favorite outdoor wedding venues in Las Vegas.

And looking back at these photos, I can see so many little elements of the design style I've grown to love.

The vintage details, the romantic florals, the layered textures, and most importantly, a celebration that felt completely personal to the couple.

A LITTLE VINTAGE, A LITTLE WHIMSY

Isa and Dylan's celebration had such a beautiful, nostalgic feeling to it.

Rather than a traditional all-white wedding, the design incorporated soft greens, warm yellows, blush pinks, and delicate floral details that felt almost like something out of an old photograph.

The tablescapes were filled with personality.

We incorporated wooden farmhouse tables, vintage-inspired glassware in different colors, soft green satin napkins, and delicate floral arrangements that brought just the right amount of color into the space.

One of my favorite details was the collection of disco balls suspended above the reception.

I loved the contrast between the romantic garden-inspired tables and the playful disco balls overhead. It gave the entire space a little unexpected personality without taking away from the elegance of the design.

And honestly, that's still one of my favorite things to do when designing weddings today.

Mix something classic with something completely unexpected.

A BRIDE WITH TIMELESS STYLE

Can we talk about Isa's bridal look for a second?

The lace, the pearls, the dramatic floral veil.

Everything about it felt so romantic and vintage-inspired.

Her gown featured beautiful dimensional floral detailing, paired with a long veil that had delicate floral embellishments trailing along the edges.

And the layered pearl necklaces were the perfect finishing touch.

I love when a bride's personal style becomes part of the overall wedding aesthetic, and Isa's look complemented the celebration so beautifully.

There was something so effortless about the combination of her romantic bridal style and the more playful details throughout the reception.

AN OUTDOOR RECEPTION WITH PERSONALITY

Las Vegas has some incredibly beautiful outdoor wedding spaces, and I think people sometimes forget that there's so much more to getting married here than the Strip.

For Isa and Dylan, the outdoor setting gave us the opportunity to create something that felt intimate, romantic, and a little unexpected.

We incorporated natural wood tones, colorful glassware, garden-inspired florals, and soft linens to bring warmth into the reception.

The disco balls overhead brought a completely different energy to the space, making it feel celebratory and fun.

And that's something I always appreciate about a good wedding design.

It doesn't have to fit perfectly into one category.

You can have a romantic garden aesthetic with vintage details and still have disco balls hanging above your dance floor.

In fact, I think those combinations are what make a wedding memorable.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Looking back at Isa and Dylan's vow renewal is particularly special to me because it represents such an early chapter of my career.

At the time, I was still learning so much about the wedding industry, developing my eye for design, and discovering which parts of the planning process I loved most.

I didn't have my own wedding planning company yet.

I didn't know exactly where my career would take me.

But I knew I loved creating beautiful experiences for people.

And I knew I was drawn to celebrations that felt a little different.

Years later, as the owner of Arabella's Weddings & Events, I can look back at weddings like this and recognize the beginning of so many things that have become part of my design philosophy.

The vintage influences. The unexpected details. The willingness to mix textures, colors, and styles.

And most importantly, the idea that a wedding should feel like the people we're celebrating.
