SEVEN WEEKS, ONE VISION: A TIMELESS SEDONA WEDDING

An intimate reflection of timeless elegance, thoughtful design, and the beauty of creating something entirely personal.

When Hannah and Hunter entrusted us with their wedding, we had just seven weeks to bring their celebration to life.

While the timeline was certainly ambitious, what excited me most was the opportunity to create something that felt entirely true to them.

Hannah and Hunter are the kind of couple whose elegance comes naturally. Sophisticated, modest, and deeply rooted in their faith, they envisioned a wedding that was classic, romantic, and understated, with just enough color to bring warmth and personality into the space.

Their initial inspiration was simple: terracotta, sage green, eucalyptus, and soft cheesecloth textures. But as we began exploring their vision, one thing became clear. They loved color, yet wanted the overall design to feel predominantly white.

Our challenge was to take a familiar color palette and reimagine it through a more refined, timeless lens.

And I absolutely loved every minute of it.

AN EXERCISE IN ELEGANCE

One of my favorite parts of wedding design is finding ways to make the simplest details feel extraordinary.

For Hannah and Hunter, that meant creating a tablescape where white was the focal point and color was introduced with intention.

We moved away from the expected rustic interpretation of terracotta and sage, choosing instead to build a softer, more sophisticated foundation. Crisp white linens, thoughtfully selected textures, and carefully considered accents allowed the design to feel romantic without becoming overly embellished.

Rather than allowing the color palette to dictate the entire design, we used it to complement the couple's natural elegance.

The result was a celebration that felt warm, inviting, and beautifully understated.

THE BEAUTY IS IN THE DETAILS

I've always believed that the smallest details have the ability to completely transform a space.

For their reception, I personally handcrafted custom menus featuring a gradient of deep reds, burnt oranges, and golden yellows. Against the white tablescape, these little touches of color became one of my favorite design elements.

We carried that same thoughtful approach into their welcome signage. I custom-designed a sign displayed in a vintage wooden frame, placed on a gold easel to introduce a touch of old-world charm.

But one of my absolute favorite details was something I created specifically for Hannah and Hunter: their very own wedding monogram.

I wanted to create something that represented their elegance and could be carried throughout the celebration. A small, recognizable detail that would tie everything together without taking away from the simplicity of the design.

And once I created it, I wanted it everywhere.

We incorporated their monogram throughout the wedding details, giving the entire celebration a cohesive, personalized identity. It was one of those little design decisions that made everything feel that much more intentional.

In fact, on the morning of their wedding, I had one more idea.

I reached out to Britney at Sedona Bakery and asked if there was any chance they could stamp the couple's custom monogram onto their wedding cake.

And of course, they made it happen.

It was such a small, last-minute addition, but those are genuinely some of my favorite moments in this industry. When you have creative partners who care just as much about the finer details as you do, even an idea on the morning of a wedding can become part of the finished design.

To me, that's what makes a celebration feel truly custom. Not simply choosing beautiful things, but creating details that belong to that couple and no one else.

Luxury, to me, isn't about how much you add to a space. It's knowing exactly what belongs there.

SEVEN WEEKS BEHIND THE SCENES

While we were thoughtfully curating the design, an entire wedding was being planned behind the scenes.

Within seven weeks, we sourced and coordinated vendors, selected rentals, developed the wedding timeline, worked through venue logistics, created custom stationery, and brought together the countless details that make a celebration feel effortless.

It required quick decisions, trusted vendor relationships, and a tremendous amount of collaboration.

But most importantly, it required trust.

Hannah and Hunter allowed me the creative freedom to take their original ideas and develop them into something beyond what they initially imagined.

That trust is something I never take lightly.

A CELEBRATION THAT FELT LIKE THEM

When July 10 finally arrived, the seven-week planning window was no longer the story.

What mattered was seeing Hannah and Hunter surrounded by the people they loved, celebrating their marriage in a setting that reflected their personalities, values, and the life they were beginning together.

Their wedding was a beautiful reminder that sophistication doesn't require extravagance, and thoughtful design doesn't have to compete for attention.

Sometimes, the most memorable celebrations are the ones where every element feels like it belongs.

Hannah and Hunter, thank you for trusting me with your vision, allowing me to be creative, and reminding me why I love what I do.

Seven weeks of planning. A lifetime of memories.

With love,
Arabella
