A SEDONA DESTINATION WEDDING WITH A LITTLE LAST-MINUTE MAGIC

There is something so special about couples who travel from out of state to celebrate their love in Sedona. Kassie and Nathan chose our beautiful red rocks as the backdrop for their wedding, and their day was filled with breathtaking scenery, intimate moments, and a few unexpected challenges behind the scenes!

Kassie and Nathan brought us on for Month-of Coordination after planning much of their wedding from out of state. With destination weddings, having reliable vendors and clear communication is especially important, since couples are trusting a team of professionals to bring everything together from hundreds of miles away.

A LAST-MINUTE CHANGE

As we stepped into the final stages of planning, we encountered some difficulties communicating with their originally booked photographer. After multiple attempts to confirm the necessary details and ensure everything was in place, I made the decision to bring in one of my trusted photography partners, Dana Maruna, to make sure their wedding memories would be captured beautifully.

This is one of those behind-the-scenes moments that couples don't always see, but it's exactly why having an experienced planner matters. Sometimes our job isn't just coordinating the details that have already been planned. It's recognizing potential issues before they become wedding-day emergencies and finding solutions.

And thankfully, Dana was able to step in!

RED ROCK PORTRAITS

Kassie and Nathan's portraits against Sedona's gorgeous red rock formations were absolutely breathtaking. Between the soft blue skies, warm desert tones, and the way these two looked at each other, the photographs captured everything that makes a Sedona destination wedding so special.

Following their celebration, the couple enjoyed dinner at Agave of Sedona, bringing their wedding day to a close surrounded by the beauty of Sedona.

This wedding was a reminder that even when plans change, the right team can make all the difference. I'm so grateful we were able to step in, navigate those last-minute details, and help Kassie and Nathan enjoy the celebration they traveled all this way for. 🤍
